Igar var det langfredag, indeed. Gick upp vid 4 pa morgonen (morgonononen), och vi kom fram vid 1 pa natten, min tid. Da var klockan sju har och time for dinner.

(engelska nu, orkar inte CP-bristsvenska. Om man nu e i USA kanske man ska go all the way och blogga pa engelska i alla fall)

So, I was awake for, like, 22 hours before I couldn't take it anymore and went to bed. It was nine in the evening here then and three o'clock in the night for me. I hate jet-lag. Been up since seven.
It was a strange trip. First we flew to Frankfurt, Germany. Took two hours. Then we flew from Frankfurt to Washington D.C, which took about eight hours. Before we entered the plane we had to answer if we had put any new items in our handbags. I was going to say "Well yeah, I actually got this easter-gift from a brown-haired guy that just came up to me here on the airport. Isn't that sweet? It was all rapped up in news-paper and string. He said not to open it until easter-sunday. I think it's a watch 'cause if you put it close to your ear you can hear it ticking!"

But I didn't.

I'm still amazed that big airbuses kan actually take off and fly. I'm also amazed that on every plane you're on, there manages to be at least one baby with the "never-ending screaming and crying"-syndrome. From Washington D.C we took this tiny airplane to Philadelphia, and even though there were only like 30 people on the plane there was a baby constantly screaming the most horrific cries. Wow, and the security in Washington was terrible. We had to stand in a line for almost two hours to get into the country. It felt like we were like cattle going up for slaughter, there was a kid who wet his pants... Not okay.

When we finally got there they took pictures of our fingerprints, all of them, from both hands. Then also pictures of our faces. Felt like we were in a bad action-movie. After that we got stamps in our passports and had to turn in a form where we, among other things, had to fill out if we had been involved in any terrorist activities, or if we had been in jail. I'd love to know if anybody would actually mark the "yes"-box for the terrorist-question..

Now we're at my mom's "american parent's" house. She lived here when she was an exchange-student when she was about my age. We'll be staying here until tuesday. Today we're going to paint eggs, and tomorrow it's easter sunday so first we'll go to church and then there's going to be an easter-egg hunt. Haha! It's sunny and warm here, and there's daffodils blooming.

Hope you're having a wonderful easter-break so far. See you soon again.
